AWARDING OF THE MEDAL OF HONOR
Mr. DONNELLY. I ask unanimous consent the Armed Services Committee be
discharged from further consideration of H.R. 3304, and the Senate
proceed to its consideration.

The legislative clerk read as follows:
A bill (H.R. 3304) to authorize and request the President
to award the Medal of Honor to Bennie G. Adkins and Donald P.
Sloat of the United States Army for acts of valor during the
Vietnam Conflict and to authorize the award of the Medal of
Honor to certain other veterans who were previously
recommended for award of the Medal of Honor.
There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
Mr. DONNELLY. I ask unanimous consent the Levin amendment, which is
at the desk, be agreed to; the bill, as amended, be read three times
and passed; the Levin title amendment, which is at the desk, be agreed
to; and the motions to reconsider be laid upon the table, with no
intervening action or debate.

recommended for award of the Medal of Honor.''.
