                                SCHEDULE

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, following my remarks and those of Senator 
McConnell, the Senate will be in a period of morning business for 1 
hour. The time will be equally divided and controlled between the two 
leaders or their designees.
  Following morning business the Senate will resume consideration of 
the National Defense Authorization Act.
  The Senate will recess today from 12:30 until 2:15 to allow for our 
weekly caucus meetings.
  We will work on amendments to the Defense bill today. Everyone will 
be notified when votes are scheduled.
