  Mr. WYDEN. Mr. President, I would like to announce for the 
information of the Senate and the public that a business meeting has 
been scheduled before the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural 
Resources. This business meeting will be held on Thursday, November 14, 
2013 at 9:30 a.m., in room 366 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building, 
prior to the already scheduled nominations hearing.
  The purpose of the business meeting is to consider pending military 
land withdrawal bills.
  Because of the limited time available for the hearing, witnesses may 
testify by invitation only. However, those wishing to submit written

on November 14, 2013, in room SD-628 of the Dirksen Senate Office 
Building, at 2:30 p.m., to consider the following legislation: S. 1352, 
A bill to reauthorize the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-
Determination Act of 1996, and for other purposes; S. 1448, A bill to 
provide for equitable compensation to the Spokane Tribe of Indians of 
the Spokane Reservation for the use of tribal land for the production 
of hydropower by the Grand Coulee Dam, and for other purposes; and S. 
434, A bill to authorize and implement the water rights compact among 
the Blackfeet Tribe of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation and the State 
of Montana, and for other purposes.
