  NOMINATION OF RICHARD F. GRIFFIN, JR., TO BE GENERAL COUNSEL OF THE 
                     NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD

  Mr. REID. I unanimous consent to proceed to executive session to 
consider Calendar No. 344.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The question is on the motion to proceed.

  The legislative clerk read the nomination of Richard F. Griffin, Jr., 
of the District of Columbia, to be General Counsel of the National 
Labor Relations Board for a term of four years.

     hereby move to bring to a close debate on the nomination of 
     Richard F. Griffin, Jr., of the District of Columbia, to be 
     General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board.
