             MEASURE READ FOR THE FIRST TIME--H.J. RES. 79

  Mrs. BOXER. Madam President, I understand that H.J. Res. 79 has been 
received from the House and it is at the desk.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will read the joint resolution by 
title for the first time.
  The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A joint resolution (H.J. Res. 79) making continuing 
     appropriations for certain components of the Department of 
     Homeland Security for fiscal year 2014, and for other 
     purposes.

  Mrs. BOXER. Madam President, I ask for its second reading and object 
to my own request.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Objection having been heard, the joint 
resolution will be read for a second time on the next legislative day.
