                     AUTHORIZING COMMITTEE FUNDING

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to the consideration of Calendar Nos. 188 and 198, resolutions 
relative to the authorization of committee funding.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Is there objection to proceeding to the 
resolutions en bloc?
  Without objection, the clerk will report the resolutions by title.
  The legislative clerk read as follows:

       A resolution (S. Res. 228) authorizing the reporting of 
     committee funding resolutions for the period of October 1, 
     2013, through February 28, 2015;
       A resolution (S. Res. 253) authorizing expenditures by 
     committees of the Senate for the periods October 1, 2013, 
     through September 30, 2014, and October 1, 2014, through 
     February 28, 2015.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
resolutions.
  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the resolutions 
be agreed to and the motions to reconsider be laid upon the table en 
bloc, with no intervening action or debate.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
  The resolutions were agreed to.
