                       NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE WEEK

  Mr. REID. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to the consideration of S. Res. 221.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the resolution by title.
  The bill clerk read as follows:

       A resolution (S. Res. 221) designating the week of October 
     7 through October 13, 2013 as ``Naturopathic Medicine Week'' 
     to recognize

     the value of naturopathic medicine in providing safe, 
     effective, and affordable health care.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the 
resolution.
  Mr. REID. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that the 
resolution be agreed to, the preamble be agreed to, and the motions to 
reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
