                           ORDER OF PROCEDURE

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that on Thursday, 
August 1, upon disposition of the Chen nomination and the resumption of 
legislative session, the Senate proceed to vote on the motion to invoke 
cloture on S. 1243, the THUD appropriations bill; further, that 
following the cloture vote, the Senate recess until 2 p.m. for the 
bipartisan caucus meeting we are having tomorrow.
