                    KAY BAILEY HUTCHISON SPOUSAL IRA

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Committee 
on Finance be discharged from further consideration of H.R. 2289 and 
the Senate proceed to its immediate consideration.

  The clerk will report the bill by title.
  The legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (H.R. 2289) to rename section 219(c) of the Internal 
     Revenue Code of 1986 as the Kay Bailey Hutchison Spousal IRA.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
  Mr. REID. I ask unanimous consent that the bill be read a third time 
and passed and the motion to reconsider be made and laid upon the 
table.
