              INVESTIGATING POSSIBLE UNETHICAL ACTIVITIES

  (Mr. SCALISE asked and was given permission to address the House for
1 minute.)
  Mr. SCALISE. Mr. Speaker, we've had reports that HHS Secretary
Sebelius has been soliciting funds from private companies to go and
promote the President's health care law. In fact, there's a committee
in Congress that's investigating these reports and how it would either
potentially break the law or clearly violate ethics laws. In addition
to that, now we're seeing reports that the Obama administration is
pressuring the NFL and the NBA to go and promote their health care law.
  It is unethical for the Obama administration to pressure
organizations that they regulate to try to promote their policies. So
if Secretary Sebelius or any other Federal administrator is using their
power in the regulatory structure to go and pressure organizations to
promote their policies, they need to stop it right now, Mr. Speaker;
and we need to continue in the House our oversight investigations into
any kind of unethical activities like those that are being reported.
