  REQUESTING THE SENATE TO RETURN TO THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES THE 
                             BILL H.R. 2217

  Mr. SESSIONS. Mr. Speaker, I send to the desk a privileged resolution 
and ask for its immediate consideration in the House.
  The Clerk read the resolution, as follows:

                              H. Res. 255

       Resolved, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives 
     request the Senate to return to the House the bill (H.R. 
     2217) entitled ``An Act making appropriations for the 
     Department of Homeland Security for the fiscal year ending 
     September 30, 2014, and for other purposes.''

  The resolution was agreed to.
  A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
