ORDERS FOR TUESDAY, MAY 7, 2013
Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate
completes its business today, it adjourn until 10 a.m., on Tuesday, May
7, 2013; that following the prayer and pledge, the morning hour be
deemed expired, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, and the
time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day;
that following any leader remarks, the Senate be in a period of morning
business until 11 a.m., with Senators permitted to speak therein for up
to 10 minutes each, with the time equally divided and controlled
between the two leaders or their designees, with the Republicans
controlling the first half and the majority controlling the final half;
further, that following morning business the Senate proceed to
executive session to consider Calendar No. 42, the Medine nomination,
as provided under the previous order; and that the Senate then recess
from 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
