       WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 2013--MOTION TO PROCEED

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I move to proceed to Calendar No. 44, S. 
601.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the bill by title.
  The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       Motion to proceed to the bill (S. 601) to provide for the 
     conservation and development of water and related resources, 
     to authorize the Secretary of the Army to construct various 
     projects for improvements to rivers and harbors of the United 
     States, and for other purposes.

  Mr. REID. Madam President, I send a cloture motion to the desk.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The cloture motion having been presented under 
rule XXII, the Chair directs the clerk to read the motion.

       We, the undersigned Senators, in accordance with the 
     provisions of rule XXII of the Standing Rules of the Senate, 
     hereby move to bring to a close debate on the motion to 
     proceed to Calendar No. 44, S. 601, a bill to provide for the 
     conservation and development of water and related resources, 
     to authorize the Secretary of the Army to construct various 
     projects for improvements to rivers and harbors of the Unites 
     States, and for other purposes.

under rule XXII be waived, and that the cloture vote occur on Monday, 
May 6, following the disposition of the Marketplace Fairness Act.
