PROVIDING FOR A JOINT SESSION OF CONGRESS TO RECEIVE A MESSAGE FROM THE
PRESIDENT
Mr. REID. I ask unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to the
consideration of H. Con. Res. 11.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The Clerk will report the concurrent
resolution by title.
The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:
A concurrent resolution (H. Con. Res. 11) providing for a
joint session of Congress to receive a message from the
President.
There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the
concurrent resolution.
Mr. REID. I ask unanimous consent that the concurrent resolution be
agreed to and the motion to reconsider be laid upon the table, with no
intervening action or debate.
