   ELECTING MEMBERS TO A CERTAIN STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE HOUSE OF 
                            REPRESENTATIVES

  Mr. BECERRA. Mr. Speaker, by direction of the Democratic Caucus, I 
offer a privileged resolution and ask for its immediate consideration.
  The Clerk read the resolution, as follows:

                               H. Res. 52

       Resolved, That the following named Members be and are 
     hereby elected to the following standing committee of the 
     House of Representatives:
       (1) Committee on house administration.--Ms. Lofgren and Mr. 
     Vargas.

  The resolution was agreed to.
  A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.
