  CLARIFYING THAT ACCOUNTS IN THE THRIFT SAVINGS FUND ARE SUBJECT TO 
                       CERTAIN FEDERAL TAX LEVIES

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Homeland 
Security and Governmental Affairs Committee be discharged from further 
consideration of H.R. 4365 and the Senate proceed to its consideration.

  The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (H.R. 4365) to amend title 5, United States Code, to 
     make clear that accounts in the Thrift Savings Fund are 
     subject to certain Federal tax levies.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
