ORDERS FOR WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 19, 2012
Mr. MENENDEZ. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the
Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until 9:30 a.m., on
Wednesday, December 19, 2012; that following the

prayer and pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the
morning hour be deemed expired, and the time for the two leaders be
reserved for their use later in the day; that following any leader
remarks, the Senate be in a period of morning business for 1 hour, with
Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each, with the
time equally divided and controlled between the two leaders or their
designees, with the Republicans controlling the first half and the
majority controlling the final half; and that following morning
business, the Senate resume consideration of H.R. 1, the legislative
vehicle for the emergency supplemental appropriations bill; further,
that Senator Hutchison be recognized at 11:30 a.m. for up to 30 minutes
and that Senator Kyl be recognized at 2 p.m. for up to 30 minutes, each
for the purpose of delivering retirement speeches.
