  Mr. BURGESS. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize the 50th 
anniversary of the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce. Through 
fostering job creation, encouraging education, and promoting strong 
business foundations, the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce has 
contributed to the success of small businesses in Lewisville since 
1962. Its members, dedicated entrepreneurs and business owners, strive 
to improve our economy by following their mission of promoting economic 
growth for the local business community.
  As a former small business owner, I know firsthand the importance of 
business expansion in the community, and this exceptional group has 
proven to be a driving force for local businesses. Their mission of 
promoting economic growth of the local business community through 
``Leading Business, Leading Lewisville,'' is a true testament to their 
sustainability over the past 50 years. It is an honor to celebrate this 
important anniversary with the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce, and 
I am privileged to represent the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce 
and Lewisville, Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives.
