                     ACKNOWLEDGING THE SENATE PAGES

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, we have had a wonderful group of summer 
pages. I am so glad we have these young men and women. As I have said a 
number of times and I repeat tonight, two of my grandchildren have been 
pages. It was a wonderful, life-altering experience for them. I now 
have had another--my grandson--as one of the summer pages, and he has 
had a great time. So I am glad we have the page program. They are 
helpful to us, and I wish them the very best. I hope their experiences 
are as good as my three grandchildrens' experiences.
