Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Homeland
Security and Governmental Affairs Committee be discharged from further
consideration of PN 1731, Kimberley Sherri Knowles to be an associate
judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia; that the
nomination be confirmed, the motion to reconsider be considered made
and laid upon the table, with no intervening action or debate; that no
further motions be in order to the nomination; that any related
statements be printed in the Record, and the President be immediately
notified of the Senate's action.

1826, James B. Cunningham, of New York, to be Ambassador to the Islamic
Republic of Afghanistan; that the nomination be confirmed, the motion
to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table, there be no
intervening action or debate; that no further motions be in order to
the nomination; that any related statements be printed in the Record;
that President Obama be immediately notified of the Senate's action,
and the Senate then resume legislative session.
