         MEASURES PLACED ON THE CALENDAR--S. 3414 AND H.R. 5872

  Mr. CONRAD. Madam President, I understand there are two bills at the 
desk due for a second reading.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will read the bills by title for the 
second time.
  The legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (S. 3414) to enhance the security and resiliency of 
     the cyber and communications infrastructure of the United 
     States.
       An act (H.R. 5872) to require the President to provide a 
     report detailing the sequester required by the Budget Control 
     Act of 2011 on January 2, 2013.

  Mr. CONRAD. On behalf of the majority leader, I object to any further 
proceedings with respect to these bills en bloc.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Objection having been heard, the bills will be 
placed on the calendar.
