INDIAN TRIBAL TRADE AND INVESTMENT DEMONSTRATION PROJECT ACT OF 2011
The SPEAKER pro tempore. The unfinished business is the vote on the
motion to suspend the rules and pass the

bill (H.R. 2362) to facilitate economic development by Indian tribes
and encourage investment by Turkish enterprises, as amended, on which
the yeas and nays were ordered.

The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion offered by the
gentleman from Washington (Mr. Hastings) that the House suspend the
rules and pass the bill, as amended.

So (two-thirds not being in the affirmative) the motion was rejected.

Mr. FILNER. Mr. Speaker, on rollcall 499, I was away from the Capitol
due to prior commitments to my constituents. Had I been present, I
would have voted ``nay.''
