HELPING EXPEDITE AND ADVANCE RESPONSIBLE TRIBAL HOME OWNERSHIP ACT OF
2011
The SPEAKER pro tempore. The unfinished business is the vote on the
motion to suspend the rules and pass the bill (H.R. 205) to amend the
Act titled ``An Act to authorize the leasing of restricted Indian lands
for public, religious, educational, recreational, residential,
business, and other purposes requiring the grant of long-term leases'',
approved August 9, 1955, to provide for Indian tribes to enter into
certain leases without prior express approval from the Secretary of the
Interior, as amended, on which the yeas and nays were ordered.

The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion offered by the
gentleman from Utah (Mr. Bishop) that the House suspend the rules and
pass the bill, as amended.

the bill, as amended, was passed.
The result of the vote was announced as above recorded.
The title was amended so as to read: ``A bill to amend the Act titled
`An Act to authorize the leasing of restricted Indian lands for public,
religious, educational, recreational, residential, business, and other
purposes requiring the grant of long-term leases', approved August 9,
1955, to provide for Indian tribes to enter into certain leases without
prior express approval from the Secretary of the Interior, and for
other purposes.''.
A motion to reconsider was laid on the table.

Mr. FILNER. Mr. Speaker, on rollcall 252, I was away from the Capitol
due to prior commitments to my constituents. Had I been present, I
would have voted ``yea.''
personal explanation
Mr. JOHNSON of Illinois. Mr. Speaker, on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 I had
obligations that necessitated my attention in Champaign, Illinois, in
my district and missed suspension votes H.R. 365--National Blue Alert,
H.R. 3874--Black Hills Cemetery Act, H.R. 205--HEARTH Act of 2011.
Had I been present, I would have voted ``yea'' on the above stated
bills.
