Mr. WHITEHOUSE. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the
Senate completes its business today, it stand adjourned until Thursday,
March 29, at 9:30 a.m.; that following the prayer and pledge, the
Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed
expired, and the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use
later in the day; that following any leader remarks, the Senate resume
consideration of the motion to proceed to S. 2230, the Paying A Fair
Share Act, with the time until 11:30 a.m. equally divided and
controlled between the two leaders or their designees, with the
majority controlling the first 30 minutes and the Republicans
controlling the second 30 minutes; further, that the filing deadline
for second-degree amendments to S. 2204, the Repeal Big Oil Tax
Subsidies Act, be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday; and that at 11:30 a.m., the
Senate proceed to a vote on the motion to invoke cloture on S. 2204.
