                                SCHEDULE

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, following leader remarks, the Senate will be 
in a period of morning business for 1 hour. The majority will control 
the first half, the Republicans will control the final half.
  Following morning business, the Senate will resume executive session 
and consideration of the Jordan nomination postcloture.
  The Senate will recess from 12:30 to 2:15 for our weekly caucus 
meetings.
  We hope to confirm the Jordan nomination today and will then resume 
consideration of the surface transportation bill at the earliest 
possible time.
