CONFERENCE REPORT ON H.R. 1540, NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2012
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to clause 1(c) of rule XIX, further
consideration of the conference report to accompany the bill (H.R.
1540) to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2012 for military
activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and
for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe
military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other
purposes, will now resume.

Mr. Bishop of Georgia moves to recommit the conference
report on the bill H.R. 1540 to the committee of conference
with instructions to the managers on the part of the House to
disagree to section 715 (regarding the determination of
whether TRICARE network providers are considered
subcontractors for purposes of the Federal Acquisition
Regulation or any other law) in the conference substitute
recommended by the committee of conference.
