MEASURES READ THE FIRST TIME EN BLOC--H.R. 2930 AND H.R. 2940

Mr. MERKLEY. I understand there are two bills at the desk, and I ask
for their first reading en bloc.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. The bills will be read for the first time by
title.
The legislative clerk read as follows:

A bill (H.R. 2930) to amend the securities laws to provide
for registration exemptions for certain crowdfunded
     securities, and for other purposes.
A bill (H.R. 2940) to direct the Securities and Exchange
Commission to eliminate the prohibition against general
solicitation as a requirement for a certain exemption under
     Regulation D.

Mr. MERKLEY. I ask for a second reading en bloc, and I object to my
own request en bloc.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Objection having been heard, there will be a
second reading on the next legislative day.
