                           NOTICE OF HEARING


               Committee on Energy and Natural Resources

  Mr. BINGAMAN. Mr. President, I would like to announce for the 
information of the Senate and the public that a field hearing has been 
scheduled before the Subcommittee on National Parks. The hearing will 
be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at the CCC 
Recreation Hall, Mile Post 19, Mesa Verde National Park, CO.
  The purpose of the hearing is to examine issues affecting management 
of archaeological, cultural, and historic resources at Mesa Verde 
National Park and other units of the National Park System.
  Because of the limited time available for the hearing, witnesses may 
testify by invitation only. However, those wishing to submit written 
testimony for the hearing record should send it to the Committee on 
Energy and Natural Resources, United States Senate, 304 Dirksen Senate
