So the amendment was rejected.
The result of the vote was announced as above recorded.
Mr. WHITFIELD. Mr. Chairman, I move that the Committee do now rise.
The motion was agreed to.
Accordingly, the Committee rose; and the Speaker pro tempore (Mr.
Crawford) having assumed the chair, Mr. Yoder, Acting Chair of the
Committee of the Whole House on the state of the Union, reported that
that Committee, having had under consideration the bill (H.R. 2250) to
provide additional time for the Administrator of the Environmental
Protection Agency to issue achievable standards for industrial,
commercial, and institutional boilers, process heaters, and
incinerators, and for other purposes, had come to no resolution
thereon.
