ORDERS FOR TUESDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2011
Mr. BROWN of Ohio. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when
the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until 10 a.m. on
Tuesday, October 4, 2011; that following the prayer and pledge, the
Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed
expired, and the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use
later in the day; that following any leader remarks, the Senate be in a
period of morning business for 1 hour, with Senators permitted to speak
therein for up to 10 minutes each, with the time equally divided and
controlled between the two leaders or their designees, with the
majority controlling the first half and the Republicans controlling the
final half; that following morning business, the Senate resume
consideration of the motion to proceed to S. 1619, the Currency
Exchange Rate Oversight Reform Act, postcloture; further, that the
Senate recess from 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. for the weekly caucus
meetings; finally, that at 2:30 p.m., all postcloture time on the
motion to proceed to S. 1619 be yielded back and, following the
reporting of the bill, the majority leader be recognized.
