    MEASURES READ THE FIRST TIME--S. 1549, H.R. 2832, AND H.R. 2887

Mr. DURBIN. Mr. President, I understand there are three bills at the
desk. I ask for their first reading en bloc.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, the clerk will report the
bills by title.
The bill clerk read as follows:

A bill (S. 1549) to provide tax relief for American workers
and businesses, to put workers back on the job while
rebuilding and modernizing America, and to provide pathways
back to work for Americans looking for jobs.
A bill (H.R. 2832) to extend the Generalized System of
     Preferences, and for other purposes.
A bill (H.R. 2887) to provide an extension of Surface and
Air Transportation Programs, and for other purposes.

Mr. DURBIN. I now ask for a second reading en bloc, and I object to
my own request en bloc.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Objection is heard. The bills will have their
second reading on the next legislative day.
