Mr. NELSON of Florida. I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate
completes its business today, it adjourn until 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday,
July 13; that following the prayer and the pledge, the Journal of
proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed to have
expired, and the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use
later in the day; that following any leader remarks, the Senate resume
consideration of S. 1323, a bill to express the sense of the Senate on
shared sacrifice in resolving the budget deficit, with 1 hour of debate
equally divided and controlled between the two leaders or their
designees, prior to the cloture vote on S. 1323; further, that the
filing deadline for all second-degree amendments on S. 1323 be at 10
a.m. tomorrow.
The ACTING PRESIDENT pro tempore. Without objection, it is so
