Announcement by the Acting Chair
The Acting CHAIR (during the vote). There is 1 minute remaining.
{time} 1500
So the amendment was rejected.
The result of the vote was announced as above recorded.
Stated against:
Mr. PALAZZO. Mr. Chair, on rollcall No. 553 I was unavoidably
detained. Had I been present, I would have voted ``no.''
Mr. FRELINGHUYSEN. Mr. Chairman, I move that the Committee do now
rise.
The motion was agreed to.
Accordingly, the Committee rose; and the Speaker pro tempore (Mr.
Johnson of Ohio) having assumed the chair, Mr. Landry, Acting Chair of
the Committee of the Whole House on the State of the Union, reported
that that Committee, having had under consideration the bill (H.R.
2354) making appropriations for energy and water development and
related agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2012, and for
other purposes, had come to no resolution thereon.
