  Mr. REID. Mr. President, H.J. Res. 48 has been received from the 
House and is at the desk.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will read the measure by title for 
the first time.

       A joint resolution (H.J. Res. 48) making further continuing 
     appropriations for fiscal year 2011, and for other purposes.

  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask for its second reading and object to 
my own request.
