  Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Judiciary 
Committee be discharged of the following nominations: PN2352, Darrell 
James Bell, U.S. Marshal, Montana; PN2348, Edwin Sloane, U.S. Marshal, 
District of Columbia; that the Senate then proceed en bloc to the 
nominations; that the nominations be confirmed en bloc, and the motions 
to reconsider be laid upon the table; that any statements relating to 
the nominations be printed in the Record as if read; that the President 
be immediately notified of the Senate's action and the Senate then 
resume legislative session.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
  The nominations considered and confirmed en bloc, are as follows:

       Darrell James Bell, of Montana, to be United States Marshal 
     for the District of Montana for the term of four years.
       Edwin Donovan Sloane, of Maryland, to be United States 
     Marshal for the District of Columbia for the term of four 
     years.
