         REGULATED INVESTMENT COMPANY MODERNIZATION ACT OF 2010

  Mr. REID. I ask unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to the 
consideration of Calendar No. 640, H.R. 4337.
  The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the bill by title.
  The legislative clerk read as follows:

       A bill (H.R. 4337) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 
     1986 to modify certain rules applicable to regulated 
     investment companies, and for other purposes.

  There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
  Mr. REID. I ask unanimous consent that the Bingaman substitute 
amendment which is at the desk be agreed to; the bill, as amended, be 
read three times, passed; the motion to reconsider be laid on the 
table; and any statements relating to this matter be printed in the 
Record.
