CLAIMS RESOLUTION ACT OF 2010
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to clause 1(c) of rule XIX,
proceedings will now resume on the motion to concur in the Senate
amendments to the bill (H.R. 4783) to accelerate the income tax
benefits for charitable cash contributions for the relief of victims of
the earthquake in Chile, and to extend the period from which such
contributions for the relief of victims of the earthquake in Haiti may
be accelerated.
The Clerk read the title of the bill.
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to House Resolution 1736, the
previous question is ordered.
The question is on the motion by the gentleman from West Virginia
(Mr. Rahall).
The question was taken; and the Speaker pro tempore announced that
the ayes appeared to have it.
Mr. ROGERS of Alabama. Mr. Speaker, I object to the vote on the
ground that a quorum is not present and make the point of order that a
quorum is not present.

Pursuant to clause 8 of rule XX, this 15-minute vote on the motion to
concur will be followed by 5-minute votes on suspending the rules with
regard to House Resolution 1585 and House Resolution 1740.
