                                PROGRAM

  Mr. WHITEHOUSE. Mr. President, the postcloture debate time on the 
motion to proceed to the food safety bill will expire late tomorrow 
afternoon. In the meantime, we will continue to work on an agreement to 
consider amendments to the bill. We wish to reach agreement so we can 
complete action on this important legislation this week.
  I suggest the absence of a quorum.
