ORDERS FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2010
Mr. FRANKEN. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the
Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until 9:30 a.m. on
Wednesday, September 22; that following the prayer and pledge, the
Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed
expired, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later
in the day; and that following any leader remarks, the Senate proceed
to a period of morning business until 4 p.m., with Senators permitted
to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each, with the time until 10 a.m.
equally divided and controlled between the two leaders or their
designees; and with the time from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. controlled in 30-
minute alternating blocks of time, with the majority controlling the
first block and the Republicans controlling the next block; and that
following morning business, the Senate resume consideration of the
motion to proceed to S. 3454, the Department of Defense authorization
bill.
