SCHEDULE
Mr. REID. Mr. President, today in the Senate there will be a period
of morning business until 11 a.m. with the time controlled between the
leaders or their designees. The majority will control the first half of
that time; the Republicans will control the second half.
Following morning business, the Senate will resume consideration of
the motion to proceed to the Defense authorization bill. The time until
12:30 p.m. will be equally divided between Senators Levin and McCain or
their designees.
The Senate will then recess from 12:30 until 2:15 p.m. to allow for
the weekly caucus meetings. At 2:15, the Senate will proceed to a vote
on the motion to invoke cloture on the DOD authorization bill.
