                           NOTICE OF HEARING


                PERMANENT SUBCOMMITTEE ON INVESTIGATIONS

  Mr. LEVIN. Mr. President, I would like to announce for the 
information of the Senate and the public that the Permanent 
Subcommittee on Investigations of the Committee on Homeland Security 
and Governmental Affairs has

scheduled a hearing entitled, ``Social Security Disability Fraud: Case 
Studies in Federal Employees and Commercial Drivers Licenses.'' The 
Subcommittee hearing will focus on the findings of a Government 
Accountability Office Report, ``Social Security Administration: Cases 
of Federal Employees and Transportation Drivers and Owners Who 
Fraudulently and/or Improperly Received SSA Disability Payments.'' 
Witnesses for the hearing will include The Honorable Michael J. Astrue, 
the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration, and Mr. Gregory 
D. Kutz, Managing Director of Forensic Audits and Special 
Investigations at the Government Accountability Office.
  The Subcommittee hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 27, 
2010, at 9 a.m., in room 342 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. For
