                           EXECUTIVE CALENDAR

  Mr. CARPER. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate 
proceed to executive session and that the previous action tonight with 
respect to Calendar No. 963 be vitiated and that the Senate then 
proceed to Calendar No. 964; that the nomination be confirmed; that the 
motion to reconsider be laid upon the table; that the President be 
immediately notified of the Senate's action, and the Senate resume 
legislative session.
