SCHEDULE
Mr. REID. Madam President, following leader remarks, there will be a
period of morning business for an hour, with Senators permitted to
speak for up to 10 minutes each. The majority will control the first 30
minutes and Republicans will control the final 30 minutes.
Following morning business, the Senate will resume consideration of
the House message on H.R. 4213, the tax extenders legislation. Last
week, I filed a motion to invoke cloture with the Baucus substitute
amendment. The cloture vote will occur tomorrow morning unless an
agreement can be reached to vote today.
We also hope to reach an agreement to consider the Iran sanctions
conference report today or we will do it tomorrow, if necessary. It is
something we need to do. Senators will be notified when any votes are
scheduled.
