NOMINATION REFERRED
Mr. DURBIN. Mr. President, as in executive session, I ask unanimous
consent that the nomination of Robert A. Harding to be Assistant
Secretary of Homeland Security, received by the Senate on Monday, March
8, be referred to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and
Transportation; that upon the reporting out or discharge of the
nomination, it then be referred to the Committee on Homeland Security
and Governmental Affairs for a period not to exceed 30 calendar days;
that if the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs has
not reported the nomination at that time, then the committee be
discharged and the nomination be placed on the Executive Calendar.
