MEASURES READ THE FIRST TIME--H.R. 4626 AND H.R. 4691
Mr. UDALL of Colorado. Mr. President, I understand there are two
bills at the desk, and I ask for their first reading en bloc.
The ACTING PRESIDENT pro tempore. The clerk will report the bills by
title.
The assistant legislative clerk read as follows:
A bill (H.R. 4626) to restore the application of the
Federal antitrust laws to the business of health insurance to
protect competition and consumers.
A bill (H.R. 4691) to provide a temporary extension of
certain programs, and for other purposes.
Mr. UDALL of Colorado. Mr. President, I now ask for a second reading
en bloc, and I object to my own request en bloc.
The ACTING PRESIDENT pro tempore. Objection having been heard, the
bills will receive their second reading on the next legislative day.
