MEDICARE PHYSICIAN PAYMENT REFORM ACT OF 2009
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to clause 1(c) of rule XIX,
proceedings will now resume on the motion offered by the gentleman from
Michigan (Mr. Conyers) to concur in the Senate amendments to the bill
(H.R. 3961) to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to reform
the Medicare SGR payment system for physicians.
The Clerk read the title of the bill.
The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion by the
gentleman from Michigan.
The question was taken; and the Speaker pro tempore announced that
the ayes appeared to have it.
Mr. POSEY. Mr. Speaker, I object to the vote on the ground that a
quorum is not present and make the point of order that a quorum is not
present.
