  Mr. REID. Madam President, I understand that S. 2939, which was 
introduced by Senator DeMint, is at the desk and is due for a second 
reading.
  The ACTING PRESIDENT pro tempore. The clerk will read the title of 
the bill for a second time.
  The bill clerk read as follows:

       A bill (S. 2939) to amend title 31, United States Code to 
     require an audit of the Board of Governors of the Federal 
     Reserve System and the Federal Reserve banks, and for other 
     purposes.

  Mr. REID. Madam President, I object to any further proceedings on 
this bill at this time.
  The ACTING PRESIDENT pro tempore. Objection is heard, and the bill 
will be placed on the calendar under rule XIV.
