FIRE GRANTS REAUTHORIZATION ACT OF 2009
The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to House Resolution 909 and rule
XVIII, the Chair declares the House in the Committee of the Whole House
on the State of the Union for the further consideration of the bill,
H.R. 3791.

Accordingly, the House resolved itself into the Committee of the
Whole House on the State of the Union for the further consideration of
the bill (H.R. 3791) to amend sections 33 and 34 of the Federal Fire
Prevention and Control Act of 1974, and for other purposes, with Mr.
Serrano (Acting Chair) in the chair.
The Clerk read the title of the bill.
The Acting CHAIR. When the Committee of the Whole House rose earlier
today, amendment No. 5 printed in part B of House Report 111-340 by the
gentleman from California (Mr. Cardoza) had been disposed of.

The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to clause 6 of rule XVIII, proceedings
will now resume on those amendments printed in part B of House Report
111-340 on which further proceedings were postponed, in the following
order:
