EXECUTIVE CALENDAR
Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate
proceed to executive session to consider Calendar No. 335, the
nomination of Henrietta Fore to be Administrator of the United States
Agency for International Development; that the nomination be confirmed,
the motion to reconsider be laid on the table, the President be
immediately notified of the Senate's action, and the Senate then return
to legislative session.
The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered.
The nomination considered and confirmed is as follows:
United States Agency for International Development
Henrietta Holsman Fore, of Nevada, to be Administrator of
the United States Agency for International Development.
Mr. REID. Mr. President, the nomination of Henrietta Fore was a
little controversial, but it worked out just fine. This good Nevadan
will have a good job. She will do her best. I am confident it will be
one that the country will be pleased with.
