               COMMERCE, JUSTICE, SCIENCE APPROPRIATIONS

  Ms. MIKULSKI. Mr. President, as chairwoman of the Appropriations 
Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice,

Science, and Related Agencies, I rise today to notify the Senate that I 
sponsored an amendment to H.R. 3093, the Commerce, Justice, Science, 
and Related Agencies Appropriations Act that provided $3 million in 
funding for Teach for America, headquartered in New York, NY, to 
improve science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education.
